yes after All the girls went to take over -
their new wonderful families ,
it took a few weeks to adjust around here
when I was back to only a few dogs again LOL

Jr is my pick and as you all know it was very hard to pick from these beauties.......

This group has been wonderful you are the pups web family -
Thank you all for watching them grow...
I will make sure I or Therese will update you all when we
get new pics (that actually show some change in their growth stages).....
All the pups went to PET homes and will be spayed
except mine and Therese's girls :wink:

I'm still debating if her perfect ears should stay ?
I love cropped as well as natural ears ????? hhmmm

Pretty much everyone here shows cropped dogs too, but perfect ears should be preferred according to the standard

They are cute ears! I went to a show last week and only saw 3 dogs with natural ears! they are becoming quite rare!! I do like cropped on some dogs!! Her's are so cute and they give them so much personality

Actually there are way more now than ever before with natural ears but still LOL Three natural eared dogs in the ring is actually a lot. Most crop.

I asked everyone at that show about the standards and how natural ears are preferred. everyone said yes but cropped seemed to always win....

ot true... LOL if they would have more uncropped dogs in the ring they would be winning more/. Patcheeno CH very quickly and so did all my others.

Here is an example of what I mean:
The day Steel got his last GRCH leg there were I believe 17 other CHs in the ring and only two others in the ring were uncropped; not because they don't win but because there were no other uncropped dogs at the show. That same day Samurai was the only uncropped class dog and he took Best male

I was told Patcheeno would have a harder time finishing being a red nose first off then being a male uncropped ears. It is a bunch of bull IMO.

There are judges who prefer cropped and most are used to seeing that but I have also had judges say outright they wish more dogs should with natural ears. Judges will always have personal feelings on it just like the owners, but IMO they really should be going off of what the standard says and not just what personal oppinions are...

It should be the total dog getting looked at and not just whether ears are done or not, and a good judge knows that

LOL OT my pet peeve in the standard is that ears of any kind are penalized against especially since anyone can just crop them off if they don't like how they looks thus you'd never know what the original ear set was like. I've seen some dogs with horrible crops in the ring and they are not penalized for that yet if the ears were natural and not perfect that would be a fault. What sense does that make??????

oops forgot to add. I'm not against cropping; I think it is a personal choice and shouldn't be pushed on people just because they want to show. Most who comment on the ears having to be croped to show have never shown an uncropped dog if you notice though LOL
