With the Westminster show coming up in NYC, there are a couple of auction houses that have "Dogs in Art" auctions. They both have the catalogs on line and they are kind of fun to look thru:

They both come up on Valentine's Day and I bet some will be bought as expensive gifts! The estimates are just a starting point and many of the paintings will go way over those.
I always like to look at old paintings and art with dogs since many of the breeds have changed a lot over the years. You can really see this in old artwork. But the pit bull breed is pretty much the same today as it was 100 years ago, if you don't count the new "fad" dogs which are big and blue with huge heads and shoulders.
Anyway, I thought I'd post the on line sites so you all can look at them. Both catalogs have a few bullies, but not many.
