Yeah Rocky! We passed the CGC test this past Saturday at Friends of Wayne day benefit for shelter. It was a nice day with a craft fair and vairious rescues as well as shelter adoptions. The evaluator was Maryellen. Her new rescue "Halfway home a Bully Pit Stop," http://www.hwhabullypitstop.com/default.htm
had a table set up with info on the rescue and BSL etc. I was a little reluctant to put Rocky to the test being all the distractions and rude dogs and a big horse doing its neigh noise which he had never seen before. Despite all the barking and noises, he passed with flying colors. I was so pleased that he walked a loose leash on a flat collar. And the down stay with all the goings on was perfect. I think Maryellen or her friend got some pictures I hope she posts them. Thanks Maryellen
Btw I almost did not get out of there without taking another dog home. I had to avoid the cutest dogs with these orange vests with ADOPT ME written on it. Someday I may be ready for another dog. Or at least do a foster some day.
