wow, what an idiot, I can't even read anymore....

She said any dog that is aggressive or attacks should be put down, but how long did it take her to do something about her own aggressive dog, If that story was even true....

(rolling my eyes) another idiot loose on the internet.

Wow...I totally missed that whole thing. Did my "locked door" comment start sadowner on his rampage? Even though I really shouldn't care what he thinks...I would just like everyone else to know...what I meant by my comment of a locked door could have prevented to incident was that the owner should have used precautionary measures...such as locking the door....when having three large dogs in his household...especially knowing that one has aggression issues. I grew up with a 100lb German Shepard...the best family dog in the world. If we invited someone in the house...he was fine with them. But I wouldn't even want to imagine what he would do if someone just opened the door and walked into my house. We always kept the door locked because we knew his protective nature would was not condusive to people strolling in and out of our house. As far as that article was concerned...it is a terrible tragedy. I feel very bad for the child and his family...and I'm not blaming the kid that he did something wrong...as sadowner suggested in one of his many posts. But I do feel that the owner was negligent in not taking the proper precautions. That's what meant by "locking the door". I just wanted to clarify that.

No, the fact that NO one agreed with his drivel is what sent him into a tail spin. He is no longer a member here. And I agree with you, if you have dogs in your house that could be a danger to others...........lock the door.
