This man sounds, to the T like the trainer I paid way to much money to to learn what I didn't like.
The difference being, he is against prong and RTC collars and instead goes for the brute force angle.
I much prefer using methods that involve the least amount of physicality on the part of the trainer in the correction. I think the less correction you have to muscle yourself = the less amount of emotion you need to put into it.
It has become much easier for me to give Oscar corrections since I've got him on a prong collar; I don't get frusterated because he doesn't listen, I don't stress, therefore he doesn't stress, and then there is even less stress because I'm not worried about controlling him or anticipating any bad behavior or situations. If only I had gotten on the prong "bandwagon" years ago...
