Hi everyone,

Some of you may recognize me from other forums. For those that don't, my name is Amanda. I am 27 years old, and live in Ontario, Canada. I have two females- Brandy who is 13, and Koya who is almost 2. We are also fostering a big brute of a boy, Ty, for Bullies In Need. He will soon be up for adoption.
If there is anything else you would like to know, ask away!

P.S. The forum looks great. :)

There's a fine line between genius and insanity. I have erased this line.

By accident! When I started dating Philip, he had this amazing dog named Brandy. She was seven at the time, and full of life. I fell in love with her. Phil was told by the shelter that she was an American Staffordshire (a breed neither of us had heard of).

A few years later, we were ready for a second dog, and wanted a dog like Brandy. After searching through the shelter, and coming up empty, we scanned our local newspaper. There was a guy looking to rehome his "Am.Staff". That is how Stella (RIP) came into our lives.

It wasn't until I started combing through breed books to learn more about our beloved dogs that I realized that they were pit bulls. So, I guess across this breed through pure ignorance, and I would never go back.

Patch.... the photos you requested. :)

The dog that started it all....
Brandy around the time I met her (7 years old)

My sweet Koya, 2 years old.

Foster boy, Ty. 1- 1 1/2 years old.

Inside me is a thin woman trying to get out. I usually shut the bitch up with a martini.

Hi Amanda! Welcome!

I'd seen pretty Koya before but not your old gal Brandy, she's lovely!

And thanks for helping Ty!
