I failed.

I expected it but not quite the way it went down.

I had to bring him in "cold". I always need 5-15 minutes to chill him out. Whatever. I'll try again in Weedsport with Lisa. :|

Eveyone in the club passed but me.

Sorry Charles :(

Just so you know... the team doing our test lets you warm up in the area for a few minutes... )dont know about 15).... but I thought it was sufficient.
If you get there early, I suppose you can warm him up all you want.

I really dont think you will have a problem.

Make sure you call and make an appointment, in case we fill... I think we only are taking 12.

I'm sure you'll be ready for it next time. No biggy!

What does he need to practice more?

Can you run him and get him tired before the test??? Will that help him settle?

Lisa: what is the date again for your testing?

Therese: That's one of the things I failed at. I was going to run him for 5 miles before the test but didn't have the time.

The 15 minutes I was talking about is just being in the general area. A few minutes in the test area would be great to though.

I start the pups with pots and pans as well as umbrellas opening and closing when they are itty bitty, but the same concepts apply when introducing it to the older dogs you just have to desensatize them to it. Some just take longer than others

Oh got ya'... I'm sure he'll pass on the next time through

Every orgs test is slightly different from what I've seen/heard and read of them. But I've only done TDI and Bright and beautiful personally.

Charles, the test is March 4th I think. Call me at work and I will give you the # to call.
Also check to see if you can find when I sent an attatchment of the
"New Dog Times" to NNYBulldogers. The info should be there. If not, let me know and I will re-post our event flier.
