I am new here and I thought I was fairly computer savy until I tried to create my Avatar

I got a photobucket account and figured out how to upload pictures there...but then what? :|

Here is Rocky!

then you go to your profile and upload your avatar there. It appears that you already have it the correct size.

That is where I'm having trouble...it won't accept it. It is telling me "The avatar filetype must be .jpg, .gif or .png" but it is a .jpg. I'm copying the address from photobucket and pasting it into my profile- is that what I'm supposed to do?

I added a space between [IMG] and http:- if I didn't the photo would show automatically and not the address.

I can't make it work..it told me that it needs to be less than 8kb and I tried to upload the URL and I got this message...

Unable to upload file

DEBUG MODE

Line : 255
File : usercp_avatar.php

I give up...this isn't fun anymore...

I don't have time to go digging in the site to find out what the problem is, sorry. I'll try to get to it this weekend though. Ok?

Isn't it? Angus from another board carved it. I invited him here when I asked if I could use it.
