I ordered this book from the store and finally got it. Has anyone read it? Is it any good? I just like to buy any books about the breed.... :)

Actually it is a very good book. About the only one I've read that i think is better is American Pit Bull Terriers: Fact or Fiction: The Truth Behind One of America's Most Popular Breeds by Dawn M. Capp

Just out of curiousity, Caroline said she was going to add a footnote somewhere in the book about one of the dogs. Harley was dumped by her owner (board dog that stayed) after she had an emergency spay (perforated pyo) at 5 years old while at Leah's. The owner sent the pic into Caroline for the book AFTER she had abandoned the dog. Harley lived at Spindletop 6 more years as a house dog. She never got over missing her Claire (the family's little girl). Harley's story is one that has stayed with me for a long time. She was a special girl.

My favorites include the two Jacqueline Fraser (O'Neil) books (one's on Pit Bulls, and one's on AmStaffs) -- check 'em out!
