Knuckles found his bark

This is where to talk about Pit Bulls!

Postby luvmyangels » January 26th, 2006, 11:35 pm

When we were going out to agility class tonight Knuckles finally found his bark. He barked at the neighbors dog across the street. I know this may not sound like much but I think he may finally be feeling more comfortable and confident in himself. I am so excited.

Have a great day!! :)

when we first got hannah it took about 3 months for her to bark and now she only barks if a- someone comes to our door. b- some one gets to close to what ever vehicle she is in and C- people who dont seem all there to her.

Now chub he only barks when he is playing with you and gets extra excited.

Well believe it or not he barked twice and has not done it again since. Well then again I have been on vacation for the last week and a 1/2 so I can't say what has been happening here. Although my brother taught my dogs some really bad habits since I have been gone. They think the couch is a place to jump up and down on now. ARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!

It's funny, my dog did not find her bark until I'd had her 2 years. She was always so quiet.

Then she started to "wuf wuf mutter" at the door knocker and now she goes into full "WOO WOO WUF WUF" at the furnace noises, the gate noise, the mail slot getting mail tossed thru it, and of course the original trigger, the door knocker!

And she is apt to hear something in the middle of the night. She rockets off the bed, flies down the stairs.. WOO WOOO WUF WUF... She runs all thru the down stairs muttering and then comes back to bed.

I suppose no one would break in if they heard her (and she loves people so I doubt she would do more than lick them) but I sort of miss her being quiet...

I wish Justice would lose hers! She barks at air!! She "talks" a LOT. She woowoos & grumbles & moans & groans & barks.

Sophie, too. The shelter said she hadn't barked once since they had her. I think she has stopped once since I had her. :laugh1:

Anyway, good news for the new barker in the world!! Progress is always good?
