Hello fellow APBT lovers! :greenWave: I'm fom Long Island, New York. I'm currently the proud mother of rescued Pit Bull mix named "Bacon". He snorts like a piggy when he's on his back....that's how my husband came up with the name. I'm looking forward to chatting with all of you.
Anyone else from LI??

Hello and welcome!

Is this your first Pit Bull? How long have you been into the breed? what made you decide on a Pit Bull?

THis is my first (but definitely not last) Pit Bull? I grew up with German Shepards...who I loved...also awesome dogs. But when it came time to get my own first dog..my husband and I decided on a Pit Bull. He had had friends who had them in the past...as did I and we both agreed they are great dogs....despite the stupid media interpretation of them. So we adopted Bacon from a rescue group when he was about 6 months... and he has completely changed our lives. He is a lot of work....but so worth it..I swear he's so close to human it's scary. Anyway...thats my story. Looking forward to getting involved in this group....thanks for the warm welcome!
