I am broken hearted

Here is where we can discuss canine cancers and treatment options to create a support system for those dealing with the disease.

She hates Raw uuugh. I used to be able to get her to eat it occassionally but now she won't touch it. I guess I need to try harder to find something she will like. Maybe if I just brown it a little

Besides popping a stitch today she is doing Ok. The one day I decide to leave her for a little break she somehow gets to a stitch. Nothing like making mom feel guilty.

She goes for an ultra sound on Monday and I've been looking at a lot of info on wholistic vets as well

Thanks again everyone

Sock-M has plenty more kisses to deliver too

I hope she kicks the cancer's butt. Thanks

Today I got her to finally eat Raw she had Bravo chicken Burgers which contain
# Murray's chicken frames
# Murray's skinless chicken meat
# bok choy
# acorn squash
# romaine lettuce
# chicken hearts
# chicken livers
# chicken gizzards

So not exactly everything I read about in the cancer diets but a lot better than kibble or cooked food according to the research

Hopefully it will start to make a difference

The Ultra sound Ok too

but ...

lymph nodes are swollen and have to be tested results will take about 3 days UUUGH... I was hoping she would be all clear every place else, but now they aren't sure

This waiting has ealy taken a lot out of me adding stress onto her

I'm thinking about her and hoping that the next tests are clear. Stay strong and give her a hug and a kiss for me.

ME once I know about her test results, I am going to figure out which wholistic vet to go to. I've been looking at something called: artemisinin

Sock-M's cancer spread and unfortuntely because it is an aggressive kind it is really bad news. I can hardly type but wanted you all to know since you have been so supportive. I'm trying not to give up hope but they haven't given me any at the vet.

I can't stop crying and don't know how to be strong for her. She is too young; it just isn't fair. She is such a good girl. All I can do is think... WHY?
She is so full of life and I was so hopeful and now I'm destroyed. I just love her so much
I keep thinking it is my fault for not finding it sooner. I failed her in my eyes

You didn't fail her, stop beating yourself up. You're feeling helpless and desperate, this was exactly how I felt. You want to protect her.

I feel your pain, and I am so sorry you and Sock have to go thru this.
Sending you both hugs and good thoughts.

Oh God I'm sorry to hear that. I agree with Purple - THIS IS NOT YOUR FAULT. There is nothing that you could have done. I think we would all agree here that you're one of the most conscientous, caring owners on this board. Your love for all of your dogs is obvious. Just keep loving on Sock-M and know that we're all thinking of you. Hug Sock-M from me and Inara, but then have somebody hug YOU from us as well. We're all here for you. :hug3:
