Can stress trigger fighting behavior?

If an owner is under extreme stress, do you think this can trigger fights between dogs in the household? I would think dogs would be sensitive and react to human stress and possibly sense that something is wrong in the pack. Any thoughts?

I'm sure it could. You ARE the leader of the pack, so I'm certain the dogs would pick up on your stress.

I believe it is possible, yes.

I would think so. When I am under extreme stress, I act differently and I'm sure that my pets pick up on that. If I'm not acting my "normal self" Ruby tends to act out.
