Hi there everyone,
I got a pup pit about 4 weeks ago. I though maybe I made a mistake at first, because he was going crazy the second week.
But I started asking alot of questions and he seems to be responding to me now. I think he knows I'm the boss of the house :)
He is a 7 month old brindle pit mix.
I'm pretty sure he is mixed because his snout is longer.
I am still haveing a little problem with him nipping.

Pups will do that. Mine is almost 3 and she still bites! She wasn't taught when she was young that it HURTS! What made you get a pit puppy? Where did you get him? We need pics of the little rascal.
Oh, and welcome!!

Thanks! I always adopt from the humane society. I just always feel terrible that those poor dogs have to be stuck there.
I went back there this weekend for my orientation for his obedience class. I'm telling you I would have taken home 5 of those puppies If i could. I felt so terrible. There were 5 puppy pits and two of them looked exactly like my dog. They were probably from the same litter. They were all strays from the same area.

Usually folks post a longer intro about themselves & their pups before access to the rest of the board is granted.
Tell us more about yourself...is there BSL in your area? Do you like pizza, and if so what kind? Have you had any other pets before?

oh, okay, lets see....
I was born and raised in Pittsburgh. I just bought my own house, therefore decided to get another dog. I raised my dog sisqo, who is a black lab. But I had to leave him with my mom, or she would have been heartbroken. I still go over there and visit and take him for walks. they live about 5 minutes from me. He doesn't really like the new puppy though.
I wasn't planning on getting a new pet, but he was just so cute. everytime I go back to the humane societyI want to take another one home. BUt I think I better get this one under control first....lol
He has settled down quite a bit. But he does like to attack me. Not in a bad way, I know he is just playing, but it really hurts when he bites.
His first obedience class is this weekend!
Oh, and yes I like pizza, any kind really.
I also like, drag racing, motocross, traveling, dancing and going out with friends. But my favorite thing is hanging out with my pup!!
how's that?
