Pics from gas production platform in the North Sea

Postby Asta » July 6th, 2006, 6:02 am

So me and Stephane gets to do unusual, but fun stuff, every now and then...Including going to the worlds largest high temperature/high pressure gas production platform 245 km´s out into the North sea from Abereed. Its called Elgin Franklin and is absolutely an enormous and fascination place to be!
Cool helicopter rides and guided tour :) I almost didnt get to got though since after trying on over 15 survivalsuites and not finding one that fit my apparently very chickenthin neck

I am the one to the right of the guy in the white helmet! White helmets indicate that they belong on the platform. White helmets are for newbies haha

Very cool! I noticed you switched to a green hat in that 2nd picture - thinking of taking a job there? :D

Is that a basoon that I see in that picture?
