Okay, just finished The Dog Who Spoke With Gods - broke my heart, over and over. I couldn't put it down, but I dreaded picking it up! I don't know if I loved it or hated it... :cry1:

Forgot to check back in. Dawn's book was good. Some typographical errors and seemingly a bit of bias in the dogfighting information, but pretty good. Worth a read definitely.

I'm about halfway through Dogs Bite, but Balloons and Slippers are More Dangerous, and I'm really enjoying it. Lots of good statistics and information about how we tend to sensationalize dog bites. She also gives a bit of lip service to our breed in there.

I don't think I could have said that better myself. That was the last book I read. Made me think a little too much about animal research. Also my own dogs seemed real dumb after reading about the dog in the book. My god I CRIED!
I hope she never writes another pit fiction book...at the same time I can't wait until she writes another.

Oh...the original purpose of the thread...sorry about that rant.
The ONLY pit book I have read is pit bulls for dummies. Everything else I have learned about these dogs is through personal experience and forums like these.
