I am new here too. I don't have any pit bulls, but I like them a lot, particularly the Staffordshire bull terriers (if you consider them pit bulls).

I teach obedience and am interested in learning more about pit bulls specifically and can always learn more about dogs in general.

I also like a good debate and am impressed with the debate you guys have going on proper pit bull temperament. Very interesting!

Hi Jane!

Do you have any dogs? What breeds?

Inside me is a thin woman trying to get out. I usually shut the bitch up with a martini.

I like all different kinds of dogs and have owned a springer spaniel and a german shepherd. Right now I have a wonderful mixed breed dog. Lots of people think she is part soft coated wheaton terrier, so I appreciate the terrier temperament!

Wow I think its great that you are trying to investigate the breed for prper purposes. I hear a lot of people reffering to trainers or behaviorists that are knoweldable about bully breeds-I guess meaning hteir stubborn, strong willed temperment. Kudos to you, this breed needs all the support it can get!
