Do some research with about the ADA first. I don't believe you have to disclose any disability that will not inhibit job function. Now, of course, if the job requires bending or lifting (for example) and you can't do those things, they have a good reason, but outside of that they can't legally not hire you.
The other side is if you are in an 'at will' state, then they can't not hire you, but they can fire you for any reason they feel like it. They can't deny you unemployment unless there were real grounds for termination, but they can let you go.
