Behavior observation by...an 11 yr. old??

My daughter is now 11, and has been, of course, raised around dogs for most her life now.
Yesterday I was trimming Jenny - we're going in stages, - and Ashley was holding her leash - at one point Ashley said "Uh oh!" and I said "What?" She said "Well she stopped panting and I thought she was getting upset and going to bite!"
I thought that was pretty observant of her, considering she's only 11 years old. Way to watch the body signals/language, Ashley!

wow, that is great, you definately have to get an eye for that stuff!

I was proud that even at age 11 she could recognize the change in body language and be prepared for a possible problem

Good Job teaching her, Mom. Odds are she'll never get bitten in the face for approaching a dog she doesnt know.
