More Puppies

Postby msvette2u » June 12th, 2006, 11:04 pm

I had to go help out on a potentially dangerous dog, a Mom Pit Bull had holed up under a shed and was threatening people there. She had tried to bite so I had to drug her.
Here's the babies. They are at my place without mom because of the drugs I used, we didn't think it'd be good to let her nurse them. They had some formula, and we'll bathe them in a bit, since they were living in dirt that has not seen the sun or water for 20 some years and they are extremely dusty/dirty.

EIGHT!

And I am closing the screen before the Gremlin sees them!

Oh vey, eight :o ? Do you need PMR for the little darlin's or are they weaned? I still have a case of PMR that's up for grabs if you need it :) .

I could sure use it!!! I estimate 3-4 cups of formula a day at least for the next week or two.
My tub now looks like the Sahara desert blew in and stuck there to the water in it.
Oops, no they are around 3weeks so not weaned. I'd prefer to give them formula for at least another week and wait on kibble (even soaked!)

OKAY - they are officially DDW babies now. They'll be adopted out after home checks and extensive applications, etc. WHEN they are older!

Kaye's rescue, Dead Dog Walking, could use any donations that anyone sees fit regarding these soon-to-be orphans.
I've got a case of formula being shipped to me, courtesy of Huskyhouse on PBT---and MANY MANY thanks to her!!!
