Here's a few photos from this weekend's pull. Sorry for the somewhat blurry quality -- still learning the new camera and what works best!

Connor and Michelle, ready to work!

Connor had NO idea what he was in the chute for. He'd been in a weight pull harness about six times total before Saturday. He fouled out yesterday and barely pulled the cart but I got him to pull 680 (I think) today.

Once I teach him that pulling is the point of the whole operation he will do well. He definitely started to have a little fun today.

Connor was great. Unfortunately he fouled out yesterday because he jumped on the cart and got wrapped around the block and yanked it off. Luckily it didn't hit him, but it was his second foul.

Today he definately started to get it.

I pulled him yesterday and Demo pulled him today. I think that actually helped because I set the precident that it was ok to pull on the harness - he pulls with me on the leash so I think it translated. When Demo pulled him today Connor had an idea of what was expected.

Connor has a TON of potential, he works well for Demo and he has great form once he gets going, especially considering he's had almost no training.

No, he was trying to step back into it. He did, and finished that weight.

That's over 3,000 pounds behind him.

There are a bunch of others of him pulling BIG weight in the full set of pictures.
