Confession (dial up beware!)

If it's a non-human, non-Pit Bull, family member, post it here!

Postby pocketpit » June 4th, 2006, 3:42 pm

I have a confession to make. I am a very baaaad dog mom as we have had a new addition to our pack for a month now and I am just now getting around to posting about it.
Most of you probably don't know but I've had Malinois in the past and my female Ellery was hit by a car and killed when she was 4. I've missed her greatly but have been determined that I would not add another one to our family until the time was just right. I really didn't think that would be for a long time but after about 2 yrs the right opportunity has arisen.
I am a huge fan of Ellery's mom and she was recently bred for the very last time to a nice FRIII import. I wavered back and forth and fretted constantly about whether or not I should get a pup and then the answer was literally "given" to me :)
Here's Mercy ( so named because not only is she from the "M" litter but she makes us pray for it daily!).

At 8 weeks this is the only view of her we ever saw

She usually gives the big kids wide berth but this toy was too tempting

Absolutely ADORABLE!!!!

Almost makes me reconsider being such a die hard pitbull lover.

I think she's so damn cute on purpose. Don't let it fool you!!! She is naturally a giant pain in the arse and hell on four legs. The only thing that makes it bearable is the cute looks she throws me and the fact that there is only one of her (I raised 2 Mal pups at the same time previously and came very close to being committed to an insane asylumn).
I do however, love her bratty, obnoxious, barky, destructive self and would not trade her in :)

Gee, I don't even have a soft spot for Mals (well, appearence-wise) but damn she is cuuuuute! Those little wet puppy eyes, the small snout... Just want to hug her until she breaks! lol
