ENFIELD TRAINERS PLEASE READ! (Please crosspost)

This forum is all about training and behavior. Everything from potty training to working titles!

Postby Chris Fraize » June 2nd, 2006, 10:11 am

Hello all,

We are very disappointed to announce that due to the forecast of heavy rain and powerful thunderstorms for the Enfield area this weekend we will NOT be making the trip!

There are no indoor facilities available for training and we just don’t want to take the chance dogs or people will get sick or injured due to the rain or thunder and lightning.

Perhaps we can get permission to use the field for a weekend in the near future.

We are extremely disappointed and hope you understand. However we feel this is the smart choice.

Safe training,
Chris Fraize

I'm going to try to, but it will depend if I have someone to leave the Gremlin with. Mark said I can go play in the thunder storm and get drenched, but I can't bring the Gremlin with me.

She's very disappointed, she loves playing in the rain.

I guess that rules out wearing my Wicked Witch T-Shirt. Image

The Gremlin and I did the following chant this morning and when I dropped her off at daycare, the kids in her pre-school class were doing the chant too! They like it better than "Rain, Rain, Go Away".

A Charm To Turn Away a Storm.

Place a pair of scissors in the middle of thy garden with the sharp end pointing upward to the sky. Visualize the clouds clearing or moving in a direction away from thee whilst thou dost thrice recite the following incantation over the scissors:

Thunder, lightning, wind and rain,
By this spell be now restrained.
Change thy course away from me,
As I will it, it shall be!
