Hi folks,

I can go off about who I am or am not but lets make it easy and breezy ;-)

First I am noones beacon of glory but what I do is try in every way possible to save this breed from extinction. My efforts have reversed county, city and state directives toward BSL. I have received thank you letters from town committees who were researching the breed after activists started anti-breed campaigns. My primary focus is education and research!

I own too many but not enough APBTs http://www.matrixkennels.com

I am involved in rescue as much as possible and believe in health testing of even rescue dogs because one dog we placed ended up with dysplasia and as a rescuer that is as bad as a breeder putting such a problem in a home (well not quite as bad). We currently have a very nice little pitbull with excellent hip conformaiton, a good heart and stable temperament ready for adoption.

I am head of research of matrix Canine Research Institute. We have 3 submitted publications that wipe out the claims of JJSacks regarding the bite statistics of the pit bull.

I am curator of the APBT network and APBT conformation which is arguably the single most informative source of pit bull information (thanks to all those who help me with it).

I AM NOT PERFECT BUT AT LEAST I ATTEMPT TO DO WHATS RIGHT!

I'm a member of your board and I have APBTConformation on the back of my pit bull clubs business cards. I have learned a lot from you and your sites.

This board is about saving the breed. Fighting BSL, supporting only responsible breedser as per the PBOA Code of ethics. Which you qualify as. Responsible ownership and rescue.

I'm honored that you joined. :D

Hey there! Welcome. I just took a quick peek at your site and I am very impressed with your policies.

Welcome to the forum. I'm pretty new myself, and I highly look forward to learning as much as I can from you!
