Purple's Having Surgery

This is where to talk about Pit Bulls!

Postby Purple » January 24th, 2006, 10:32 pm

Purple's having surgery Wednesday to remove a fatty cyst off of her lower chest. While she's under, we are having one the size of a golf ball removed off of her side......and having her teeth cleaned.....I hope everything is going to be ok. I worry so much about losing her. The old gal is 9.
Send good thoughts our way.....

Good thoughts sent from here too!

I think there are different types of anesthesia? I know Red had her little 15 yr old mutt's teeth cleaned not long ago and she requested that the vet use "gas" type anesthesia for Toby and he was fine. That type is a lot easier on them

I hope Red sees this as she knows more than I do...

We'll send prayers towards Purple on Thursday.

:) Purple will do great! Your vet must be pretty confident putting him under for all that with his age so your gonna go the Purple later and know it was all good!
