I think he finally understands

This is where to talk about Pit Bulls!

Postby GreddyGirl » May 26th, 2006, 11:49 am

Last night Mike was telling his friend about an article he read in the newspaper. Some guys were street racing the other night and got into a huge accident. They are both in the hospital.

The article goes on about the police "cracking down" on modified car, which (according to the article) are mostly driven by younger men.

Mike laughed because the cars involved in the accident were not modified, and the drivers were actually middle aged men (who had been drinking).

He was all in a huff because him and all of his friends have modified cars, and he doesnt want his right to own a modified car to be taken away because of these people who street race.

I couldnt help but snicker. I told him to change the sentance around to say this " the dogs involved in the accident were not pit bulls..."

He looked at me and said, "You have a really good point!" I told him I dont fight BSL just for the dogs, but because if we allow the government to take that right away from us, where will it stop?!?

I think he finally understands

Ok, and if you get through to a woman you have to talk about shoes, Harlequin romances, Meg Ryan movies, and chocolate?

:rolleyes2:

(I know it was meant as a joke, I just HATE those sort of things, so just putting my 2 cents in)

Back to regular programing.

If you are talking about the racers - they were Neons (I think)

If you are asking about Mike he has a BMW 325i, and his friends all drive mustangs.

Neons are one of the top choices for kids to mod...they are cheap, and the mod stuff is easy to get. Sheesh, anyone can get thier hands on NOS now, and that's about all they need.

I am old school as far as fast, loud cars. Give me a big engine with lots of power and a loud exhaust & I am happy. The kids on my street have mods, there is a neon & a couple of imports and they run them down our (one block long street) with the fat exhaust pipes & that crappy sounding "put put put put put" and I just laugh. I can fart louder than those cars.
