I also found that mixing water with the food helps a puppy digest it...and slows them down while eating....

good tip

If I didn't mix it with water, Sacha could eat her food in one gulp (no, not kidding, I've seen her do it) ETA:....I've watched her eat a ham hock in less than 10 minutes....

Justice was a gobbling little fool when she was little so I hand fed her. I would either feed her one piece at a time by hand or just put a few in her bowl at a time. She still eats fast but not like then.

I'm not really sure but my dog Ozzy throws up at least once a week and usually more and he is completely healthy. I'm not sure what causes it but he usually just throws up the yellow bile stuff. Is Scrappy healthy in every other way? I have heard that pitbulls just throw up alot... is this true?

Have you had this checked out?

As far as I'm concerned it is not normal for a dog to vomit that often.

I have a Pit Bull, and he vomits maybe once every 3-4 months.

When she was younger (and before I switched her to raw for one meal), I would mix with canned food.....not sure about you, but I just didn't feel the need to have the slimy food in my hands.... :|
