Urgent pups in Maryland Shelter

Postby Maryellen » May 24th, 2006, 9:51 am

These pups will ONLY be released to rescue.

Hi Everyone,

We have several pit pups that are around 8 weeks old here at the shelter. Plus one very nice pit/lab female that is under 1 year I believe.

I am attaching pictures of these dogs.

If you have any space for them please contact me.

Please refer to their cage numbers if you are interested in
any of them.

Thank you

Debby

Good luck to them.
Pit Bulls know they are THE face of extinction. All that remains is where they make their final stand. Say NO to BSL!

If anyone wants to foster, but not be responsible for the actualy rescue part--the vetting, the posting, the applicant screening--lemme know. I can send you a foster app for EBBRR and we can scoop one of these guys up.

You know, wishful thinking that there might be an empty foster home looking at this thread, wishing they could have another few months of foster puppy fun! 8)

Update I received today:

both pups were claimed by the original owner, i was just told today.

so they will not be coming home with us. i'm relieved in a way, but also sad because whoever lets 8 week old pups get picked up stray probably doesn't deserve to have pups at all. :(

unfortunately, that's also a possibility. but all i can do is hope they end up doing OK . . . i'm certain that another litter or stray will take their place in the next day or so. they are chronically full over there.

god help me for saying this, but i may end up taking in a foster over this summer yet, no matter how many times i tell reba she won't have to deal with another whippersnapper in her time. :(
