OMG! The scarest thing happened to me on my bike ride. Well i let ivan go for a swim in this large, man-made lake that is becomeing a new little "city." And while Ivan is swimming out to around the middle for this stick i threw, an alligator came up less then 3ft away from him. I freaked out!! I started yelling for Ivan to come, he just turned and swam to me. Luckly the gator didnt do anything, i couldnt imagen what i would have done if it went for Ivan!! :o

I would be freakin out if that happened to Oz. But of course Oz is a monster that would eat a gator for breakfast

Your very lucky he wasn't killed, "Alli" must have been full.. I'd definitely steer clear of that lake!

There have been alligators spotted in some of our surrounding lakes this past week.

The one thing I love a flexi for is swimming.

In your case you can limit how far out they can swim and you can "reel" them in. Plus pit bulls sink. If they get out too far and tire out they will drop like a rock.

I think it's time fossr you to buy a kiddie pool. lol

OMFG.

Was it big?

Did he see it? What if he had gone over to check it out? I KNOW Oscar would have, little hellion.

I always worry about taking Oscar swimming in the ocean in som places (shallow beaches are not too much to worry about) here, we have baby (I hear they are tiny) Great Whites, Seals, and Orcas- they are what I really worry about since they eat seals and sometimes other whales too. I think I'll be picky about where I swim him now, you've got me paranoid.

scary crap.
