There was a big dog show the past 4 days in Cleveland so today a bunch of us went. We didn't care so much about the showing (AKC, ick) but about the VENDORS. We're walking around and I hone in on LEATHER. Then I realize it's the leather people who were at the DSO this year. Beautiful, supple leather. So I'm in there talking to them and the guys says, "yeah, I remember you from the DSO. You came into the tent about three times and just kept touching the leather." Um, yeah, I did. Fortunately he laughed and pointed out that they have pink leather harnesses that would look gorgeous on Inara ($85 though, ugh). But yeah, I'm remembered as the girl who fondles leather.

Agreed. Send me to a tack shop and I'm just inhaling leather with a smile on my face.

I wonder if they really smell leathery though. Mmmmm...I would take a stable-scented candle - leather and hay with a touch of sweet grain mixed in. *happy sigh*
