New Wiener personal Best Time!

Weight pull, Protection, Agility, Flyball... you name it!

Postby TheRedQueen » October 11th, 2011, 9:18 am

Figgy's personal best time in flyball up until now has been a 6.7 from a tourney about a month ago. He smashed that twice this weekend, starting with a 6.6, then a 6.5!

:cheer:

Just for everyone that doesn't know: The flyball lanes are 51 feet long...that's down to the box, and over four hurdles. He has to do that down and back. The lowest jump height that he gets is 7"...and those are taller than his shoulder height. He runs down 51' over those jumps, leaps onto a flyball box, catches his ball, and runs back 51' over the four jumps again...in 6.5 seconds. 8) He's a superstar!

There isn't much I can do in 6.5 seconds, so I'm impressed! lol

That's because he's Super Fig - able to leap small jumps in a single bound!

I want to see a video!! I explained it to Allen and told him to guess Figment's best time (he's familiar with who Figgy is after all of my chatter about him! Haha) and he said 15 seconds. Nope! 6.5!! Haha, that's unreal.

Due to team issues, there probably won't be any video...:(

I'll try and get some soon!

Fastest dog that I've seen...is a whippet from SpringLoaded (Michigan) that runs a 3.5-3.6 when doing well...3.7-3.8 on a slow heat. I've heard he's turned in a 3.4, but I haven't seen it.

Score is our fastest...he avergaes a 4.0-4.1...but has dipped into the high 3s...his best is 3.8.

Typical big dog: high fours-mid fives

So, in other words, your weiner finishes in 6.5 seconds, and appears to be finishing faster and faster.
