She really is doing AWESOME! I am beyond impressed and very proud of that little foster monster . . . and proud of myself for not totally messing up her training

Venus just went off to her forever home!

I'm going to miss her a lot . . . in fact I already have a few tequila shots lined up to dull the pain (I've been crying since Monday). The last time I felt like this about a foster dog I adopted Wally.

She is going to live out on Martha's Vineyard so you know her life isn't going to be difficult. They are a fantastic family with breed experience and the patience to deal with a special needs dog. She is going to be loved and trained right, I know she is, but I'm going to miss that little muffin.

Congrats on your new home, Venus. Have a safe ferry trip over.

Well that's the cool part. They said that anytime I'm on the island to give them a call and I'm not only welcome to come over and visit Miss Venus, but they'll loan me one of their cars for the day to tool around the island in. How sweet is that?

NO ONE! Halo has enough issues on his own that I'm taking at least the summer off, if not longer, to work with his psychotic fuzzy butt.

The Gremlin is going to miss her, she was bent that she won't get to see her again.

I told her that Venus went to live with her forever doggie parents and now she can help you train Halo. :D
