Shanna - Urgent

Do you know someone who could pull her? She is in Many, LA. About 4 months old, she and her sister were picked up as strays. The sister was adopted today. She's had her shots but not yet spayed. She is on the short list for euthanasia - possibly as soon as tomorrow. She is in a shelter that is short on room - as they all are.

I was browsing around yesterday and stumbled upon her and since her name is Shanna, I had to send a note and ask about her status. Now I wish I hadn't....

I've contacted them and we can pull her. We just need a temp foster home down there so I have a little time to arrange transport. Is there anyone here who can foster this little girl for 2-3 weeks?

I was told the only reason Shanna and Anna had not been euthed a month ago is because they were so cute. Anna was adopted yesterday, which makes Shanna's time very short now.

Thanks to a lot of folks who stepped up to the plate when I screamed 'help' this little cutie will be on her way to a foster tomorrow and transported to ePITome in the not too distant future.

I am grateful to everyone who had a hand in helping out.

I have puppy Shanna in possession - actually napping in OUR bed! She is a wonderful pup. VERY docile and calm. She will make someone a great dog.

Can't wait to meet you too, Angie!

I love that sleeping picture of Shanna puppy, but I told Shanna NOT to spoil that puppy!! I've been told it's impossible not to spoil this sweetheart. As you can see, I was too late...

You should check out the pictures at the link I just posted. I pulled them off of Kristin's (Shanna puppy's foster mom in Texas) facebook a few minutes ago. Cute!!

She finally came to life after we got checked in. But it didn't last long, she's snuggled up with Bob and they are both napping.
