Squirrel Watch 2011 (VERY pic heavy...)

I've barely posted any pictures of the little one-- who is not so little anymore!-- and they were having such a good time following the squirrels that I thought it was high time I took some new pictures of everyone.

Robin was today's ringleader.

But it's tough working alone. Sometimes you need help.

(She's so narrow!)

And just being all around pretty.

River is a happy girl...

...as long as she gets to wallow in the dust.

Luna would like you to know that this is only because I didn't catch her good side.

Luna's ears are like a little donkey's! I say that in a good way, of course.

Luna just finished 2 weeks of antibiotics for all the infections she had. If you look at her neck in these pics, you can see where all the collar irritations are healing up. And if she's in the yard for ANY length of time, she comes back in with little welts all over her from I guess fleas and mosquitoes. Poor thing has a hard time with bugs.

That is our yard-- it was one of the things that sold us on the place. I'm sitting on the red brick patio while taking these pics. The last few summers, though, and a dog that likes to dig (ahem, Simon), have rendered the yard a dust pit. I still love it. There's great pics of it from right at the beginning on our houseblog.

And this is River's "Can't we please just go inside now?" face.

She's 6 or 7... We've had them cleaned once, last year, and they were soooo sparkly afterwards! I need to be better about keeping up with her dental hygiene.

And thanks everyone-- I'm probably biased, but I think they're pretty cute. ;-)

I have never had my dogs teeth professionally done. But Truman's are bright white, too. I think the black fur makes them stand out even more.

I love the pics. That is some beautiful scenery in the background, but the dogs stole nature's spotlight!!! They are so adorable and very focused!! Love it!!!
