Hi I am Dawn and i have just joined your board to hopefully get some helpful advice on caring for my newly acquired pitbull Magni. He's 18 mths old and so far seems to be everything his prior owners said that he'd be. I was trying to use the search button but couldn't, then found out I have to make this intro first. This is my first pitbull, used to raise German Shepherds, and I have been feeding Taste of the Wild High Prairie and am pleased to find out that it was given 6 stars from a link from this website. My dog seems to enjoy eating grass however so was wondering if something might be lacking from the food? He never throws up btw.

Welcome to you and Magni. You'll find a ton of great info here. Oh, and they won't stop reminding you about the pictures :giggle:

I feed Taste of the Wild as well, and Duke still supplements his with grass. And our 'Spirit' Trouble did the same thing. The vet told me once they eat both vegetables and meat. Grass is as good as vegetables in their book. It's like eating from a big open salad bowl :|

Welcome to the forum :wave2:

My Vet does not like my dogs eating grass. A friend lost her Collie due to grass eating and a subsequent blockage. Ask YOUR Vet and do what YOU think is best for Magni.
