Our flyball friend, Foster

Postby TheRedQueen » August 31st, 2011, 10:18 pm

Foster was the same age as Xander...and was one of our former flyball teammates...a standard poodle that loved to have a good time on the lanes. He ran off into the building during one of our first flyball tournaments...and the announcer said..."ladies and gentlemen, there is a poodle on the loose...he's not dangerous, he's just lost". Still makes me laugh.

Foster was boarding while his parents were out of town this past week...he became sick and was rushed to the ER, but died on the way. They think that he had a heart attack.

I know how hard it is to lose a dog when you're with them...but to be out of town at the time? I can't even imagine.

If you all could keep his mom and dad in your thoughts... :(
