So exciting :D!!!!!!

EEK!!! That's awesome!

And you old people, that's Edward (the main vampire) from the Twilight movies!

You mean he has the physical strength to lift a Sharpie? I don't think so.

Got a really nice email from a couple of former students today. They had disappeared for the last two classes and I kind of thought they didn't really enjoy class. Instead they gave me some very nice compliments and said they learned a lot.

The clinic has finally entered the world of digital x-rays! This makes life so much easier especially since you can see if you got the right shot right away rather than waiting, developing, and then having the doctor look at them. We had a lot of fun practicing on our dogs this morning... it makes life so easy!

So, it was almost a week ago, but my friend who had the stroke made it to the wedding :) A close friend of the bride picked him up from the hospital and brought him to the ceremony. He wrote up a short speech, and the father of the groom read it. It was wonderful.

We were away on vacation for the last week... The dogs were boarding at work (where at least I know that the techs give them lots of love, they even got to go play on the roof terrace during dinner time), and we got them back. I'm SO happy to see them again, and I dare say they are too.

Right now they're both pooped, Iggy in his open crate and Jack in his chair, it's like 2 doggy corpses, which is very weird since they usually play all the time.

Well, I suppose it should annoy me, but it didn't.

I passed my old Subaru on the way to work today. I bought it new in 1999, and had it until 2010. Frankly, I wish I did still have it since the repairs would have been less than $1,000 and I just should have done them instead of getting a "new" car.

But anyway, it made me smile to see it still on the road and going strong.

Just got a gym membership at 24hr fitness, I went there today! Hopefully this is just the start and I can keep my butt in gear to workout everyday!

I also rode my horse bareback today and cantered for the first time in forever. It's so nice to be regaining my balance!

I asked him today if he knew what it meant...and he said "Oh my golly".

*snort* Then he laughed like an idiot. My mom's comment was that it was amazing that he spelled it right. 8)

That reminds me of my Dad...when he was REAL angry he would say: "Gosh darn it!" and it was like cursing to him. He was a very good Catholic and would never say anything that was even remotely a curse.

My mother swears by saying "Golly Neds!" and I tease her mercilessly for it. :giggle:

My mum won't curse...but my dad can curse a blue streak...that's why I found it so funny that he said "golly"...but that's also why he said it, to make me laugh.
