Yes, I overfeed. Yes, he was getting way too fat. Believe it or not, there is an improvement here.

But in his defense (or mine?) he is a big boned dog. :dance:

It's really hard on those big dogs bones to have extra weight. I've been super conscious of Buford's weight since he has developed some arthritis....

He just loves food.

But I know it is better for him to be 10 pounds thinner.

Lilo just ate a huge peach cake and a loaf of bread last week. She gained 5lbs overnight and threw it all up the next day. My dogs have no ability to feel full.

Good for you for making the effort, I know it's hard for you because you love him. He is looking more svelt!

He looks skinnier than he did before hence "he's looking MORE svelt" as in thinner than before.
