YAY! Thanks, Friends!!!! We are going out with my dad, Harry's mom and our favorite neighbor couple to a Seafood Buffet!!!! I usually stay away from buffets cuz I can't eat the 'price-worth' but I expect a whole lot of yummy choices. My biggest b-day gift is going to be getting my hair highlighted. I'm getting a lot of grays and probably should have started full-time coloring 5 years ago but I'm embracing my natural self until I can't stand it anymore and I'm starting with highlights.... :)

I have to admit that I have forsaken 'all things dog' for the past 2 months as my dad has been diagnosed with parkinsons + dementia and the dementia side of that equation is going to be a real horror... Luckily things are not too bad yet but I've joined 2 parkinson's forums and 2 dementia forums and ordered some books - so I'm immersing myself in the learning curve right of these 2 crappy diseases. I'd rather be reading about dogs and lookign at their happy pictures!! Thank you for the nice birthday with!!!!!!!!!!

:giggle: Well good for you! "Embracing our natural selves" sucks IMO. Go for the coloring!

I wish you all the positive vibes imaginable, in your quest to help your Dad, and yourself through this. :hug3:

I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day, tomorrow doesn't look good either.
