Another checkup. Good progress. Vet said he is about 90% healed. He did remind me that he has arthritis in both knees, so I will continue with Cosequin.

BUT it seems Mr. Chubba is tipping the scales again. :rolleyes2: Obviously, he doesn't prepare his own food, so....I am guilty as charged. He needs to lose 10 pounds (at least) to help his legs in general.

PM me if you want Trouble's reducing diet. It was awesome if you don't mind mixing it.

You can purchase everything already cooked and all you have to do is throw it together and stir. They have canned fish and chicken that will work just fine.

I brought him into the Vet this morning because he was limping on the knee he had surgery. :sad2: We decided on Rimadyl for a week, hoping to see it helps, then off it for a week to see if it is a bruised knee from being a dork.

If not, the surgeon will be called back to evaluate and we will go from there. Originally, his meniscus was not replaced, because it was okay. That is what we are discussing as a possible problem now.

Can I curse on here and say crap????

You absolutely can and I second it. Fingers crossed that it's just a bruise from Darlene bullying him for toys or sleeping in a weird position.

So, one shot of Rimadyl and 2 doses of the pill and his limping is much better. I know it doesn't mean anything until he is on it for a wk then comes off of it, but at least he isn't showing that he is in pain.
