He's apparently being a VERY good boy...but that's to be expected, because that's simply what he is...a very good boy. They were surprised that he's so quiet and clean in his crate (he's also a gentleman)...
.
He's drinking and peeing just fine, they've upped his fluids, and everything is still going well. They fed him some wet food this afternoon, which he snarfed (yea!)...and they were going to do a recheck of all of his blood and urine tonight.
Still NO idea why this has happened...he doesn't get into anything that he shouldn't, and he didn't get fed anything that the others didn't get also. So no toxins, or the wrong food, or anything like that. He's damn near the perfect dog...he won't touch food unless I give the okay, so for him to get into something is just unbelievable.
They said it might just be old age...that his kidneys are failing due to age, but I think we're just grasping at straws. The hope is that it's acute, and that they can get it under control...whatever the cause.
