The "Survival Leash"

Lead Me On is proud to present the Survival Leash, so named because it has extra paracord braided into the handle which can come in handy if lost in the woods, and also because the handle is more comfortable so your wrist will survive a pulling dog!

Not available for sale yet. Erin will be the guinea pig to test this one out and if she gives it two thumbs up it will then be offered for sale. I'm pleased with the way it turned out!

This is really cool, I'm excited for a review! I saw an ad on facebook for paracord collars and bracelets - same premise - it could save you, but the website wanted a ridiculous amount of money for them.

Okay....I will ask....How does a paracord help you if you are lost and exactly what is it? :oops:

I don't exactly know to be honest, Joyce. I do know that each strand of paracord actually has seven strong threads inside it, so it provides you with a lot of stuff to tie with, lol

I used this leash on our super long walk last night (sorry, Erin!) and I really liked it! It's very comfy to hold. I think I'm going to have to make one for myself.

Oh, so maybe if someone needs to help you by pulling you up a cliff or out of a raging river or something, they can use it because of it's strength?

I'm honestly looking forward to it so I can lash together a stretcher, if I ever need to pull an injured dog out from a long hike. (yes, I can lash: I'm a girl scout, and yes, I think of these things).

I'm very excited...and I have JUST the dog to test the strength and comfort on...my ARPH foster, Liam...who is 50# of pulling muscle!

I've got my new leash to test...but no strong pullers yet to really try it out on. It's really, really comfy in my hand though...so I'm really enjoying it already.
