Fugly Dog of the Day

Everything that doesn't fit anywhere else!

This may be more appropriate for the Pit Bull Talk section but I wasn't sure...

Someone was inspired by the Fugly Horse of the Day blog and has come up with this gem. She's just started out and is a Pit Bull person so she's been posting mostly deformed Pit Bulls... It's kind of an interesting blog and it's disgusting how mutated some of these dogs are and amazing that people are able to make money off of them.

To paraphrase one of the dogs on craigslist: He is a purebred pit bull. I am training him not to bite when offered food.

I like the idea, but the writing leaves a little to be desired...calling a dog's structure "retarded" is about as stupid as breeding the dog in the first place. ;)

I have to agree. I wasn't horribly impressed. I did enjoy the photos, but where FHOTD has a point to posts and really elaborates on most of them, this seems pretty repetitive. I'd really like to see some intellectual, well thought out posts.

Although the comments got pretty entertaining at times.

FHOTD does a good job of explaining *why* the horse is so bad/fugly...not just "I think it's fugly". Just trashing ugly dogs is gonna get old quick. I'm all for it, but it is definitely repetitive...

FHOTD is hard to top. This chick is just starting out so it may or may not improve and get more structure but it's kind of entertaining anyway.

FHOTD is VERY anti-pit bull so I stopped reading it.

Right, but she still writes better than this blog author. ;)

Not enjoying the writing, but that gray bulldog mix on top of the r=brindle female... Hanging on for dear life, and being HELD to breed? Can you get more indications this shouldn't be happening? Can't imagine the guy just sitting on a chair holding him while they're tied...

It's really funny, and really sad.
