PHENOMENAL!!!

I am in a theater group and go to Broadway shows in NYC once a month. We saw SPIDERMAN this week and it was amazing!!!

You MUST see the costumes!!! Lookie here: http://spidermanonbroadway.marvel.com/home

Not only were the acrobatics the coolest thing since sliced bread, but the villians costumes were over the top!

There was a lot of controversy about the show, since there was an accident when they first performed:

The only complaint I had was that the music was WAY too loud and sometimes you couldn't even hear the words. Also, while Reeve Carney is a really good singer, I didn't think he was "Broadway material".

Now I have to rent Spiderman 1, 2 and 3 because I never saw them. :giggle:

Ok, I'm so jealous. I wish I could be a member of a theater group who goes to see a Broadway show once a month.

When we went to NY to see the ball drop for 2000, Bob was all about seeing the ball drop. My first response to do you want to go to NY was 'we'll get to see a Broadway play!"

Living 30 miles away from NYC (with 1.5 hours of traffic to GET there.....no matter when you go) is a nice. Our group takes a coach bus in, has time for dinner wherever you want and then the show is usually 8 pm. We have seen 6 Broadway shows and about 2 off-Broadway.
