Hi there! I'm Raven, avid animal lover and art student from Louisiana.
I was introduced to the breed as a young girl and since then I still imagine myself with an affectionate bully to call my own.
For now, I enjoy playing and walking with my friends' bully and their bully/Dachshund mix (odd combo I know, but the dog is an adorable sweetheart).

Pit Bull / Daschund? That's a Bull Weiner, right?

Welcome to the board! :)

i've had several pets growing up.
most of them were various reptiles (lizards, turtles, boas, etc.),chickens, pigeons, a pheasant, a ferret and a dog (a chow chow), but now since I'm stuck in a no-pets student apartment complex, I have had a few bettas and a pair of mickey mouse platys.
the bettas are a male and female pair who act just like miniature dogs. both of the little critters love and demand attention so much I have even been able to teach them two tricks and they will allow anyone with a gentle touch to pet them. sometimes the male will even ignore food while the others feed so he can get a few pats while the female is eating.

A pheasant? :giggle: I had a duck and chicken as pets, but never heard of a pheasant as a friend.

trust me. he was not what i considered a friend. ducks would have been friendlier.
the only reason why we had him was because he was included with the bantam chickens.

named him Pancake (a golden pheasant). not because of his sweet nature, but because when he sat pouting on the ground or in a corner by himself, his body flattened and golden coloration reminded me of an overstuffed pancake.

sometimes i wonder if i really need to finish college to graduate as an artist. but, the thought of being bored at some mundane retail job or sitting in a cold office working all day keeps me in check.
