Dash got his first sinus infection last week. He's been on antibiotics for a week and isn't moving air through his nose at all, he's back to mouth breathing. It could be severe inflammation or it could be the tumor growing back. We have a re-check with the surgeon tomorrow morning.

Please keep him in your thoughts.

I vote for sinus inflammation and won't take anything else.

Dash had to stay at the vet to be sedated and have his sinuses flushed. He's completely plugged and best case scenario is that he's got a bunch of glue like snot plugging him up. Because his sinus passages are created and not natural, it's fairly common to see this after the surgery he had. Worst case scenario is that removing the tumor and not getting clean margins has caused the tumor to go into hyper drive and grow back very quickly.

I should know more when I pick him up this afternoon. I'm very worried.

It's the worst smurfing news. The surgeon said that the tumor has grown back at an accelerated rate and I probably have two weeks before total obstruction.

I'm glad I don't believe in God because I'd be having some serious doubts right about now.

I can't tell you how badly I feel for you. It does just suck!

Now I'll tell you what all good tripawd owners are taught from day one - Dash has no idea he has an illness. All he cares about is you and your attention. Give him all the love you have, and make the decisions you will face based on his best interest. There is no timestamp on his butt. No one knows how much time they will be given. Make the most of each and every moment.

Give him a hug for me. He's seriously lovable. Sending you virtual ((hugs))

Thank you for the reminder Shanna, cause right now I'm like Jeanine, it would be seriously easy to be very upset right now.

You are right. We did the very best we could and continue to do the best we can...Jeanine, you took a very sick puppy and gave him life, love, happiness....we must celebrate that.
