Got word today.

Everything that doesn't fit anywhere else!

My niece Angel called me today to tell me that my Great-Nephew Levi, will be deployed to Afghanistan, he already spent 4 years in the Army, was over seas once, and has been out for 2 years and in the Iowa National Guard. He'll be flying Medic Copters. And will be gone for 2 years.

Seems unreal.

Emi, I'm so sorry. I'm sure you're worried to death (I was when my brother-in-law was over there) but he's doing what he's well-trained to do, and he'll be helping keep other people alive by flying a medic copter.

Emi, I know it is so worrysome for us when our young people go over into danger. My Glen has been waiting to go and is excited to go. I had a hard time understanding why he feels this way but he keeps telling me that it is his job and he will do it so his family doesn't have to. Hugs to you.
