sigh.... It's sealed over and is filling back up.

I have a bunch of rambling emotions and thoughts running around in my head right now. I'll be calling the vet in the a.m. to see what the next step is from here.
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day, tomorrow doesn't look good either.

talked to Vet. He said surgery is ideal, but if we don't have a ton of cash, we can try letting it heal on it's own; either way there will be a scar, a surgical fix is just more predicatable. He said what he would do is keep an eye on it and go from there; we're going to trace the edges of it and see if it starts to grow, if it starts to grow, the I think likely it would grow to eventually affect the whole ear, so if it starts to grow we'll go to surgery.
On the plus side, I know Vet has a scheduled surgery day at the hospital, and I asked if they only day he could do surgery was on that day, and he said no. So if I notice it growing, then hopefully within a day or so we could get it fixed. I don't know how I could ever get another relationship with a Vet like this again(since it has a lot to do with having a dog that for a while, was in every couple weeks or months, and then actually working with him), but if and when I switch, I'll have to try again - its so worthwhile.
I would think the next couple days will tell me if we're going to go to surgery.

I hope he doesn't need surgery. Fingers crossed for healing on it's own!
