Joyce I have complete faith in you to make exactly the right decisions at the right time for Lenny. You have given him a quality of life he would have never known without you. You will do what's right and I will support whatever you decide.

Joyce, I hope you realize what an amazing life you've given Lenny. You took him from a life of hell and social deprivation. He landed in the best hands possible with you. Whatever you decide to do, we're with you 110%.

Lots of good thoughts for you and Lenny... :hug3:

Joyce, I cannot begin to tell you how sad I am for you. As has already been stated, you have given him a wonderful life. What a difference in the Lenny today and the Lenny who first came to you.

Sending you and Lenny tons of good thoughts. I'll be thinking about you tomorrow as you see your own vet. You will get the answers you need to make the right choices. And we will stand beside you.

I am so sorry Joyce.

No matter what the Vet says tomorrow, know that you gave Lenny the best days of his life. Love, kindness, understanding and endless patience.

Hugs.

Let's just put it this way - Lenny has already had a few years of what most people who know you dream of having - life as one of your dogs. Like everyone else here, I have the utmost confidence in you to make the best decision for Lenny and yourself.

I'll be praying for a positive outcome tomorrow.

Today was cleaning day, and you and Lenny were on my mind as I cleaned.
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day, tomorrow doesn't look good either.

Thank you, my friends.

Last night I slept in the dog den with him.

I want to tell you something he did yesterday....As you all know, he never really knew "how to be a dog" and never kissed me. Once or twice, I got a lick on my hand, but that was it. He learned to push my hand away from the others if they were getting attention, but it was like he didn't know licking is equated with affection.

Before I was deciding to bring him to the e-vet, I was brushing him and cleaning his ears, because he loves that. So, we are sitting eye level and he looks straight at me and puts his nose in front of mine. Lenny then licked my face, four times. It was probably the most defining moment of our relationship and I will cherish it forever.
