8) I know I am ridiculous, but I don't want to focus on the puking/not eating. :giggle: Yet, I post here and tell everyone.

Okay...today I call the Vet and tell him all is good. I have waited because sometimes THAT jinx' it. :neener:

No, dogs are not allowed on the furniture. Unless they have stomach aches. Rather obscene view...

We have had our ups and downs these past few weeks. Playing with meds and when to give them and how much dosage works. Last Sat. went to Vet for a checkup and he is still holding his weight at 71 pounds.

The good news is that for the past 3 days he HATES Mighty Dog. He now LOVES Wellness, dry (no grain formula) and canned Wellness, beef or turkey/chix liver only. I add some beef gravy (human type) and he eats. No puking. :)

He has also become rather odd in that he will only eat on the second step of the stairs, using my pyrex glass bowl, with a paper towel under it.

How do I know all this works? Because I basically dance and stand on my head to find what works. I buy a can of this and that, try different dishes, feed him in different spots.....you name it. :rolleyes2:

Funny you should mention that, Diana. :giggle: I make sure the "feeding environment" is calm. He plays off of anyone's emotions (dog or human) so I play smooth jazz at mealtime. I prefer Dave Koz, so I am assuming so does he.

But by now, you all "know" my personality when it comes to my dogs, so you probably aren't laughing. Right?

I know he doesn't look skinny to MOST people  but I can feel and see his ribs. Yes, my dogs are usually chubba's. The good news, on this rollercoaster ride, is that he is eating and not puking. While he likes Wellness canned, I tried BISON by Natural Balance, and I seemed to have hit gold. This week, at least.
